Tobacco Caye is a five acre small island located about 45 minutes by boat off the coast of Dangriga, Belize. It sits in the middle of the second largest Barrier Reef in the world, at the northern edge of the South Water Cayes Marine Reserve.
Tobacco Caye Paradise is a place to lay out on the beach or a hammock, relax, and redefine the definition of relaxing. There are no televisions, public telephones or internet access. This is a place to separate from your busy life back home and connect with yourself, your family, friends, other travelers and the island and her 25 or so native inhabitants.
Paradise Lodge located on the north side of the island features 6 rustic but charming thatched roof beach cabanas. All cabanas face north to the Belize Barrier Reef and have wonderful decks perched over turquoise tropical waters. Each deck has a hammock and an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea. You will enjoy an idyllic atmosphere and spectacular private views of the beautiful Caribbean Sea with waves crashing on the reef near by.
Amenities include rainwater showers and simple yet clean accommodations. The small, locally owned lodge is a perfect staging point to explore the many islands, mangrove ranges, and spectacular snorkeling in “Tobacco Cut” just south of the island.
