These whale shark diving packages come with midrange accommodations at Laru Beya Beach Resort located on the peninsula beach about four miles north of Placencia Village. Also featured, is the Belizean Nirvana Beachfront Hotel located in town near local shops and restaurants. Both accommodations offer the ultimate relaxation and full service.
Diving is with Seahorse Dive Shop the founders of the whale shark program located in Placencia Village. Dive in and be prepared for an experience to last a lifetime.
Whale sharks are gentle giants, they are slow-moving filter feeding sharks and the largest fish species. They feed primarily on plankton’s and other very small sea creatures such as tropical snapper spawn that prompts their annual migration to the Gladden Split in Belize. You will experience the ultimate underwater thrill by getting up close and personal with these gentle giants.
